Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public broad access to many public records, but Russell County records are not stored in one place. The Office of Circuit Court Clerk handles Circuit Court and District Court case files, including criminal, civil, traffic, probate, and divorce records where public. The Russell County Clerk handles deeds, mortgages, liens, plats, marriage licenses, taxes, elections, and motor vehicle work. The Sheriff, jailer, Kentucky Court of Justice, KYTC, KOOL, and VINELink each serve different record needs.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
